In a bustling city, Henrico, a theatrical extra, s a spy mission, disguising himself to thwart a foreign agent's plot.
Henrico is a theatrical extra who likes to pretend to be a great actor, but in reality his "acting" consists of carrying the Italian baritone from the play Carmen on his shoulders at the end of an act. When flirting with a woman on the street, he is drawn to her in a spy plot. Agreeing to work as a secret agent in Operation "Red Rooster", Henrico must follow a foreign spy who wants to steal a secret formula for rocket fuel (based on bananas). To do so, he uses his "talents" as an actor and disguises himself as a messenger, a Jewish salesman and even a space being.
